THE SLIM REAPER

The first entry in the Black Label Variant Archive.

Inspired by the legendary "Slim Reaper" moniker, this one-of-one collectible reimagines a modern basketball icon as the Grim Reaper himself, a timeless figure tasked with collecting names, records, and legacies.

Clad in flowing robes of shadow and wielding a gold-leaf scythe, The Slim Reaper stands among the remnants of those who came before. In one hand rests the instrument of inevitability. In the other, the game that made him a legend.

At the center of the piece lies the Book of the Dead, an archive of chapters written and completed. Each crossed-out entry marks a stop along the journey, while the final remaining name serves as a reminder that every legacy is still being written.

Subtle details throughout the sculpture reward closer inspection, including championship rings, symbolic references to a remarkable career, and layered storytelling woven into every angle of the composition.

Like all Black Label Variants, The Slim Reaper is a one-of-one work of art. From digital concept to final hand-painted finish, every stage of production was completed by Slim Smith of Pimp Monk Media.
